First Deputy Speaker Affirms Iraq’s Solidarity with Lebanon, Condemns Violations of Its Sovereignty

The First Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Council of Representatives, Adnan Faihan al-Dulaimi, received in his office the Lebanese Ambassador to Iraq, Khalil Abdullah Mohammed, where the two sides discussed recent developments in Lebanon and the wider region, as well as bilateral relations and ways to strengthen cooperation across various fields.

Faihan reaffirmed Iraq’s support—both government and people—for Lebanon, expressing strong condemnation of the attacks carried out by Israeli occupation forces inside Lebanese territory, describing them as clear violations of international law and norms. He also أكد Iraq’s readiness to provide all forms of support to help alleviate the suffering of the Lebanese people.
