Faihan Congratulates Prime Minister Ali Al-Zaidi on Securing Parliamentary Confidence

Adnan Faihan al-Dulaimi, First Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Council of Representatives, extended his congratulations to Prime Minister Ali Al-Zaidi and his cabinet on gaining the confidence of parliament, wishing them success in carrying out their responsibilities during a period marked by major challenges and national priorities.

He also praised the role of political leaders and members of parliament in achieving this constitutional milestone and demonstrating a collective spirit of responsibility in service of Iraq and its people.

Faihan noted that the special parliamentary committee reviewing the government program contributed to strengthening its framework by introducing two key priorities: combating corruption across all areas of implementation, and advancing legislative reforms through a package of laws aimed at supporting state institutions and addressing public needs. He added that the government has been tasked with submitting a detailed reform program within 60 days, including clear timelines and implementation mechanisms.
