Faihan and Sheikh Hammoudi Stress Need for Unified Positions on National and Regional Challenges

The First Deputy Speaker of the Iraqi Council of Representatives, Adnan Faihan, received the head of the Islamic Supreme Council of Iraq, Sheikh Humam Hammoudi, to discuss political developments, the general situation in the country, and regional developments and their impact on Iraq.

Both sides stressed the importance of strengthening stability, unifying national positions, and maintaining coordination among political forces to support state institutions and advance reconstruction and development.

They also emphasized the need to prioritize national interests, unify efforts to address current challenges, safeguard sovereignty, and protect national achievements.
